New Dawn, 2005. Paper silhouette, placed in a window gallery, Gallery Elbowroom, and lit up from behind. A silhouette with hybrid animals - trying to capture the ambience of an in-between time in an in-between area. Dawn in the abandoned lots between housing estates and the woods nearby. 3.30 m wide, 1.50 m high.

Potential Place

Potential Place, 2005. Collaboration with artist Kalle Brolin. Animated film, slow pans across silhouetted landscapes of urban waste against fading dawn sky. The hour before things start happening. Landscapes are from Russian city Kaliningrad. Music by artist Helena Backman.
